Contemporary dance performance ‘Chiaroscuro’

Chiaroscuro looks at the motifs of threat, surrender and protection, echoing through the paintings of the baroque period. Central to this work is the experience of fear and its manifestation in the individual and collective bodies. Shifting from uncomfortable to soothing, frightening and funny, the performance paints the contrasting landscape of our emotional lives in the times of disorientation and crisis.
