Embodied Rituals

Galerie Kandlhofer is pleased to announce Embodied Rituals, a group exhibition bringing together internationally renowned artists Hermann Nitsch (b. 1938 - d. 2022, Austria), Harminder Judge (b. 1982, UK), and Donna Huanca (b.1980, USA).

The exhibition features historic contributions by Nitsch, new wall-based sculptural works by Judge, alongside key canvases and an installation from Huanca.

Shown together in Vienna for the first time, the presentation draws connections between their distinct approaches to gesture, ritual, and transformation. An accompanying essay by Roman Grabner will offer further insight into the exhibition’s context and themes.
