Christoph Meier, born 1980 in Vienna, Austria, lives and works in Vienna. He studied architecture at the Technical University Vienna, as well fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna at Heimo Zobernig and the Glasgow School of Art. Christoph Meier is a one of three co-founders and co-editors of the artist-fanzine Black Pages. Since 2007 he teaches at the Institute for Art and Design at the Technical University Vienna.

Beside others Christoph Meier realized solo-exhibitions at Galerie Kamm in Berlin, Nosbaum&Reding in Luxemburg, Galleria Collicaligerggi in Catania, Tripode - Galerie de l‘espace Diderot in Rezé / Nantes, Vienna Secession, Kiosk in Gent, In Extenso in Clermont-Ferrand, Startgalerie of MUSA Museum auf Abruf in Vienna or Galerie Amer Abbas in Vienna. His work was shown in several group exhibitions, as a ferris wheel is right now at Hier und jetzt / hic et nunc in Stift Klosterneuburg. For 2015 Christoph Meier received the MAK Schindler Fellowship in Los Angeles.
