Barbara Kapusta, born in 1983, lives and works in Vienna.

Her work has been shown at, among others, Museum der Moderne Salzburg, 2014; Galerija Vartai, Vilnius, 2014; The Banff Center, Alberta, 2013; 21er Haus, Vienna, 2013; Kunstpavillon Innsbruck, 2012; Galerie Lisa Ruyter, Vienna 2012; Freies Museum Berlin 2012; Freud Museum, Vienna, 2011; Project Space, RMIT Melbourne, 2010; Temporary Gallery Cologne, 2009.

Barbara Kapusta works with photographs, video and writes poetry. Recently she published her writing in Jenni Tischer, Pin, Sternberg Press, 2014. She is co-editor of several publications including the exhibition catalogue Projects by Assignments, Schlebrügge.Editor, 2011.
