Wednesday with? Poklong Anading and joechlTRAGSEILER Event

We cordially invite you to the fourth session of Wednesday with? On April 25, 7 pm Artist in Residence Poklong Anading will talk about his artistic practice. In addition, Studio Artist JoechlTragseiler will give more details about their current exhibition LOUVRE LOVER, currently on display in das weisse haus. Both artist talks will be moderated by applied cultural theorist Gerald Straub.

Poklong Anading, lives and works in Manila. His spectrum of work ranges from video, installation, photography, drawing, and painting, continuously expanding on allegedly autonomous projects that reinforce a substantial discourse with an investigative, descriptive character - a chimeric entity, comprehensive in form and coherent in content. Often based on an interactive approach, engaging with the subject and the audience, Anading’s work is defined by a unique standpoint on social occurrences and structures from which calculated intrusion arises from.

joechlTRAGSEILER (Alexander Jöchl and Wolfgang Tragseiler) is an artist duo based in Vienna and Stuttgart. Their focus lies within the analyzation of constructed objects. The duo questions Failed Utopias, with minimal subversive interventions.

The matter of recognition, and value represented throughout the hierarchy of the art scene, is portrayed and showcased through a subtle sense of humor by creation of imaginary Museums and Collections. The interpretation of this subject is realized among the ranges of Film, Audio Works, Photographs and Installations, that express the worthiness and boundaries of an Artist within to days Industrie of Art:
