studio das weisse haus cordially invites you to the fifth edition of Wednesday with? on May 23, 2017 at 7pm. This monthly series was initiated to foster artistic exchange and critical discourse. Under the topic of “Art Critique Today” Carlos Kong and Alexandra-Maria Toth will think about the role and challenges that art criticism is facing today. The talk will be held in English.

This residency program is organized in cooperation with EIKON - International Magazine for Photography and Media Art.

Carlos Kong is a writer and art historian based in New York and Berlin. His work has been published by international art journals and cultural institutions. In 2016 he was commended by the Art & Culture Art Criticism Prize in 2016.

Alexandra-Maria Toth is a freelance author for several magazines including the gap, an.schläge, pw-magazine, progress magazine and works as editor for Collectors Agenda.
