Art in a Suitcase

Presentation of a curatorial practice

Art in a Suitcase is a traveling project that experiments with the
position of a curator of contemporary art within the art world and the
society in general. It was launched in 2010 when the curator travelled
across Europe with artworks in his small suitcase. He visited eight
cities in six countries in four weeks to present these artworks.
Aditionally talks about the art system, independent and self-employed
curatorship, museums and art market took place. Further travels led him
to Mexico, to Austria and the project goes on with future events.
