Her presentation will outline elements of her composition methods based on the body-machine dialogue in the context of intelligent systems and interactive and immersive media, with as leitmotiv, how to better grasp the specificity of the body consciousness nuances inherent to each environment. The artist will address questions related to the processes involved in her past and present works, such as improvisation-notation, movement analysis, digital visualization, programming rules, and collaborative user interaction modes.

Digital artist, choreographer, and movement specialist, Marie-Claude Poulin is co-founder and artistic co-director, with media artist Martin Kusch, of the media-performance group, kondition pluriel (www.konditionpluriel.org). She is Senior Artist, performance teacher, and artistic-researcher at the Dept. of Digital Arts and the Dept. of Media Theory at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
