Welcome: Rector Dr. Gerald Bast
Introduction to Co-Corporeality – Of Humans, Machines & Microbes
Editors: Barbara Imhof, Daniella Mitterberger, Tiziano Derme

Round table: Co-Corporeality – Of Humans, Machines & Microbes reflects on a FWF funded artistic research project that investigated non-verbal communication with our microbial environment through living and grown material. While the book was an in-depth, multidisciplinary exploration of how humans can engage sensorically with their microbial environment, the panel discussion will further extend the inquiry of co-Corporeality into viewpoints from media studies, choreography, architecture and design research. The panel will begin with a discussion on the cultural and scientific relevance of observing our environment at different scales in order to understand ecological relations and co-corporealities.

Panellist: Claudia Bosse, choreographer, director and artist, theathercombinat, Vienna-Berlin. Daniela Mitterberger, co-project lead Co-Corporeality, MAEID Vienna, ETH, Zürich. Tiziano Derme, co-project lead Co-corporeality, MAIED Vienna, ETH Zürich.

Moderator: Alexander Damianisch, Zentrum Fokus Forschung
Food experience: Marianna Mondelos, artist, researcher, Zentrum Fokus Forschung.
