Kyiv Biennial: Office Ukraine Get Together Event

As part of a Get Together networking meeting by Office Ukraine, Ukrainian artists and cultural producers will have the opportunity to take a free guided tour of the Kyiv Biennial 2023 at the Augarten Contemporary. It’s one of the last possibilities as the exhibition will only run till 17 of December.

The New York Times wrote that the Kyiv Biennial “is the most energizing exhibition of the year”. The fifth edition of the Biennial is taking place across Europe at locations in Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhhorod, Berlin, Warsaw, Lublin, Antwerp and Vienna as the main exhibition venue and was curated by Serge Klymko, Hedwig Saxenhuber, Georg Schöllhammer.

This Biennial edition, conceived as a European event, aims to reintegrate the Ukrainian artistic community, divided by war and scattered across Europe, and to enable its actors to work together with international colleagues and partners on the cultural, social and environmental challenges Ukraine is currently facing and to place them in a global context.

After the guided tour through Augarten Contemporary, the meeting will offer space for informal discussions over drinks and snacks, as is customary at Get Together events.
