Galerie Überall and Everybody Needs Art is pleased to present the Happiness Manual project by Brückner János in Vienna.

Happiness Manual is a collection of instructions that shows you what and how will make you happy. You can use it in every situation, it presents you the components and the ways of realization based on opinions of real people. It?s simple like an IKEA manual. You can mix the components to create your own brand new version. The prototype of the Manual is based on a users comments on a 2006 BBC online research.

Galerie Überall?s upcoming show, the super-functional irony of the manual will face locations in Vienna. Which are the locations marked as the most sad ones in a town, and how to spray some sun for those sad places? The moving exhibition makes an experiment in bringing inhumanized happiness recipes to urban locations with a corporate camouflage. Vienna – the city of monuments from the past and modern architecture confrontations, has many places looking for some happiness. Let?s see how the life-scaled manual works there!
