Live: Snuffaluffagus + WITT (beide US)

Snuffaluffagus is a musical endeavor created by songwriter Chris Braciszewski, an enthusiast of many musical tastes.

Snuffaluffagus was born out of a home studio project and over the last couple of years has progressed into a collective of collaborating musicians that involve the likes of Japandi, Alex Kent (SAY ANYTHING), BoomSnake , and Brian Warren (WEATHERBOX).

Snuffy’s first Gnome Records release of 2008 (Aminals EP) is a prelude to a folk fairy tale and is just one of many concepts that strive to promote childlike imaginative states.

WITT is comprised of three fine young men from San Diego, California, USA. Their names are, in order of appearance: Evan, Jesse, and Henry. They started playing music as WITT in August of 2007; an unseasonably cool August, as I recall. What began as innocent lunchtime jam sessions rapidly ballooned into something much, much more dangerous/scary, and within weeks the three boys (not yet men) were honing their already considerable live skills at San Diego’s finest DIY/vegan/freegan venues. In hushed whispers, word quickly spread of this unknown trio of frighteningly skilled youths annihilating stages all over the greater SD area and leaving nothing but puddles of melted face and the charred remains of lesser bands in their destructive wake. Have you seen what a wicked prog groove in 19 (nineteen) can do to those unfortunate enough to find themselves on the receiving end of said groove? The results are not pretty - take it from me.
