This is Olivier Sorenson first solo gallery exhbition in a few years. Taking on the mapping theme, Sorenson has added a new twist, a more personal touch to the genre. He does not try to perfectly match the shape of a physical object with his videos, but instead is voluntarily distorting them with random objects. The result works to mesmerizing effects, similar to optical art in painting.”
