I Look Up, I Look Down From My Human Height Event

I LOOK UP, I LOOK DOWN FROM MY HUMAN HEIGHT: MAGDALENA STÜCKLER, JULIAN SIFFERT, GABRIEL HUTH, MARLENE POSCH, FREITAG 13. OKTOBER 2023, 19 UHR

The four exhibit two works. One of them is installed overhead, measuring the room
with precision. The other is an image, depicting a person trying to correct their
upside down reflection in a spoon. The show is accompanied by a text by Leonie
Huber.

Magdalena Stückler (*1996) is an artist based in Vienna. She is currently studying at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her artistic practice spans various mediums, including sculpture, textile, and drawing. Within her work, she examines themes of efficiency and function by repositioning them and exploring the connections between various elements, forms and materials.

Julian Siffert (*1993) is a Vienna based artist, working mainly in sculpture, installation and music. He studied in Vienna, Lyon and Stuttgart.

Gabriel Huth is born in 1993 and based in Vienna. Currently he is interested in the material components of social rituals and gatherings. His work includes various media from sculpture and drawing to performance and music. Since 2017 he is part of the artist collective conte potuto.

Marlene Posch (*1994) is a sculptor based in Vienna, where she studies Transmedia Art and Sculpture and Space at the University of Applied Arts. The artist works with personal memories and the potential of abstraction to negotiate issues by using various materials such as metal, wood and ceramic.
