In a world where the outside is strange and cold, you need to have thick skin. The house becomes this skin in all its layers: stones, bricks, walls, curtains, windows, fences, balconies,… The interior becomes the organs that we live off. The bedding the heart, the table the liver, the couch the kidneys. The house is the body that is constantly in motion.

The inside becomes the outside; in the house, ‘you’ might even become ‘me’. As we become so close in the house skin, there are no demarcations anymore between us. Perceiving the object as the subject and one almost becoming the house, or the house becomes the self, like a snail.

What happens when you turn the house inside out -what becomes hidden and what is revealed? What happens when we try to build an inside facade with its outside organs?
