LAILA Vienna: Gefängnisinsel

LAILA is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by a number of Sydney and Melbourne based practices with partner gallery Stiege13 in Vienna. The opportunity to work across cities and borders has reappeared as an option for some. Peripatetic lifestyles which manifest in attitudes, fairs, lounges, restaurants, bank accounts and other access points, is both embraced and rejected by stakeholders within the sector. To work in new environments is an opportunity afforded to some of us once again, although on a different set of terms and confined to a suitcase.
