We live in worlds of deep interference and complicated entanglement, urging us to think beyond the individual and the myth of self-contained, autonomous species. Shifting and never quite settling between symbiotic, parasitic, and commensalistic relationalities, the works gathered in this space aim to find moments of interruption, an open form system that encourages porosity.
They are situated in opposites, in built and grown spaces, between artificial and natural topographies, in close proximity as well as in distance. Processes such as covering and overgrowing, exposing, appropriating, protecting, housing and framing are understood as versatile. These forms of exchange are united in an attempt to find complicity and initiate modes of infestation.
