Michelangelo: Artist Talk & Inauguration

Vin Vin is pleased to invite you to two appointments, this Saturday 7 March, 3-6 pm.

3-4 pm: Conversation between Anne Schmidt and Christian Egger within Schmidt´s solo exhibition MICHELANGELO, with a text by Pia-Marie Remmers, going through 14 March.

4-6 pm: Inauguration of CONTRAPPUNTO, project space realized by Martin Hotter and organically incorporated into the gallery space.

In the musical language, CONTRAPPUNTO means literally “point against point”, specifically “note against note”, and it is the combination of two or more independent melodies into a single harmonic texture in which each retains its linear character.

CONTRAPPUNTO will host, in general, one work at a time, which will always be unveiled after each inauguration. The programming of CONTRAPPUNTO will follow its own development, independently from the programming of the main gallery space.
