Thyitar: Conversation

About the Artist:

Thyitar (b. 1988, Yangon) completed her art studies at New Zero Art Space in 2009. She approaches feminism and religious issues through her own perceived notions of what it means to identify with these topics as an artist. She began to experiment with performance art in 2011. She has participated in exhibitions and performance festivals in Myanmar, Japan, Germany, Vietnam and India.
