Instawalk Albertina - Nitsch Event

For Hermann Nitsch, painting is one of the disciplines of his orgies of mystery theater. It is deeply rooted in actionism, performance, and multimedia. Painting is the origin of these actions and, at the same time, their result.
With the exhibition NITSCH. RÄUME AUS FARBE (rooms in color) shall Nitsch’s paintings now for the first time in the ALBERTINA not be regarded as part of a larger whole but as painting in their own right.

Nitsch’s painting goes beyond the dimensions of the panel painting, conquering the wall across the board and intervening in the room as a comprehensive installation. Expect an explosion of the senses and fantastic photo opportunities.

Following the relaxed tour of the exhibition halls, we will as usually enjoy cool drinks in the state rooms of the Albertina.
