Karlo Drašković and his Croatian Contribution to the Vienna Camera Club

Karlo Drašković (Bratislava, 1873 – Vienna, 1900) was the leading Croatian amateur photographer of the nineteenth century. Having taken up photography in 1892, he was granted membership in the Vienna Camera Club in 1895. His main—and for aristocrats typical—interest was taking pictures of the people and regions that he saw on his many journeys.
