The Oscars 2019

For the eighth time, BURG KINO broadcasts the Academy Awards during the night from Sunday, February 24 to Monday, February 25. On the same weekend we will show a selection of movies nominated this year.

There will be an Oscar prediction contest and a small free breakfast at the end of the show.

The entrance will be free. A guaranteed seat reservation can be obtained together with the purchase of a ticket for the 11pm-screening of either Adam McKay’s VICE (nominated for 8 Oscars, will be shown at “Großer Saal”) or Barry Jenkins’ IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK (nominated for 3 Oscars, will be shown at the “Studio”). Tickets are up for sale and can be bought or reserved on our website and at our cash office in our cinema (Opernring 19, 1010 Wien).
