Music videos belong on the big screen.

In two competitions VIS Vienna Independent Shorts 2016 shows that the times in which music videos have been seen primarily as a promotional tool for a song are long gone.

For the fourth time VIS Vienna Independent Shorts awards the national and international music video prize.

The National Music Video Competition, a collaboration between VIS and the Poolinale - Music Film Festival Vienna 2016, includes everything from a classical prelude by Franz Schubert to a nominee of Sundance Film Festival “MeTube 2: August sings Carmina Burana”.

This years competition also includes music videos of ZEBRA KATZ, KIDS N CATS, Deichkind, Björk, Autre Ne Veutt, Peaches and many more?
