ABOUT TENGGER (KO/JP)

TENGGER is an electronic psychedelic / drone musical duo and travelers.

Members are: ‘itta’, Korean new wave avant-garde musician who plays voice, Indian harmonium and toy instruments and, ‘marqido’, Japanese noise creator, music producer who plays analogue synthesizers currently.

TENGGER formed under the name of ?10? in 2005 Korea and has been touring extensively in Asia (Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines), Europe (UK, Ireland, Spain, Italia, Belgium, France, Germany), USA (east coast). THE WIRE, TimeOut, WFMU, Resonance FM, to name a few, introduced their music to Europian and American experimental music fans.

ABOUT JASPER FUNG (HK)

Jasper Fung is a Hong Kong based artist and musician. His work intertwines installation and electroacoustic composition that arouse introspection into today?s discourteous and coarse world alongside the rapid elimination of social interactiveness. Fung?s work explores the terrain over electronics, sound & space,rooted in his determination to establish a multi-mediality discipline.

Fung received his Bachelor Degree in School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong in 2012. His installation works have been presented in Germany, London and different cities in Asia. He has been performing in different cities include Vienna, Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Fung is currently living in Austria for his post-gradate degree in Media Arts Cultures.

A crucial test of genre-categorization of musical styles beyond the commercial
perception of sound. A personal confrontation with the own ego, through public
presentation of abstract thinking.
Since years, the computer is the instrument of expression.
Emphasis is placed on instrument.
Search between the experiment and the arrangement.
A sample, endless possibilities.
Currently ?matthias erian . me? is working on several releases of recent years
productions. On one hand, avant-garde glitch-pop-electronic arisen, on the other
hand work of noise, drone and feld-recoding genre. This refection of recent years
inspired him to establish a uniform set from these different expressions.
