Alex J. Champandard (AiGameDev.com/nucl.ai Conference)
A lot has changed in the field of artificial intelligence for games in the past ten years. Back then, it was a risky and error prone process, with many developers and players cursing and blaming their non-player characters. Today, AI can be applied reliably to a variety of in-game problems ranging from AI directors to procedural level generation, including player profiling and improving monetization. This talk will share what?s new and cool, and how you can best leverage these ideas for your own games!
