Trotz oder gerade wegen der ?Objektivität? der Apparatur hat die Fotografie nicht nur völlig neue, sondern auch äußerst divergente Sichtweisen auf die Erscheinung der Realität eröffnet. Erst dieses scheinbar objektive Medium hat Realität endgültig als ein Konstrukt entlarvt. Die Welt existiert nicht per se, sondern nur als Summe subjektiver Erfahrungen und Bilder, die sich Individuen von ihr machen.
Die Ausstellung ?Objets Trouvés? zeigt drei ebenso unterschiedliche Sichtweisen auf die Wirklichkeit wie Zugänge zum Medium Fotografie. Hannes Böck, Kerstin von Gabain und Guido Kucsko konfrontieren ihre Fotowerke in einem installativen Kontext mit historischen Kunst- und Gebrauchsobjekten aus der Sammlung und dem Kunsthandel Reinhold Hofstätter.

Despite, or perhaps because of the ‘objectivity’ of the apparatus, photography has opened not only completely new, but also extremely divergent perspectives on what appears to be reality.This seemingly objective medium has finally unmasked reality as a construct. Rather than existing per se, the world is made up of the sum of subjective experiences and images that individuals have.
The exhibition ?Objets Trouvés? shows three positions, which offer different ways of looking at reality as well as a variety of approaches to the medium of photography.Within the context of an installation, the artists Hannes Böck, Kerstin von Gabain and Guido Kucsko confront their works with historical art and utilitarian objects from the collection as well as the Kunsthandel Reinhold Hofstätter.
