Beyond Mimesis: Import/Export

Group exhibition with Theresa Eipeldauer, Sophie Dvořák, Matthias Peyker, David Zeller, curated by Christian Bazant-Hegemark. The exhibition highlights a side-view on painting, showcasing works not traditionally associated with the medium. The artist selection consists of people previously having exhibited with Beyond Mimesis, and features a tandem event in collaboration with Essl Museum, that currently show the show “Die Zukunft der Malerei”, curated by Günther Oberhollenzer: On February 4th there’s an artist talk with Günther Oberhollenzer selected artists visiting mo.e, and the week afterwards (February 11th), a artist talk is happening at the Essl Museum.
