The manifestations of Markus Hofer´s works can be extremely different. However, it is the constantly resurfacing thematic approaches such as place, time and material, that permeate the work and reach us packaged as humor, irritation and variation.

“Interior of Archivist” by Vadim Zkharov

First exhibition of Vadim Zakharov, who represented Russia at the Venice Biennale in 2013. Vadim Zakharov has been an active participant in Moscow’s unofficial art scene and one of the key figures in Moscow conceptualism. His multidimensional activity as an artist, publisher, archivist, collector and book designer has involved dozens of exhibitions and publications. He works subtly and precisely with the pre-literal structure of language that once entranced the futurists. Only, unlike the futurists, Zakharov does not run away from the legacy of world culture but strives to meet it head-on.
