Sinisa Labrovic: Künstlergespräch und Performance

The major themes of his work are the position of man in these times of the domination of economy and politics, the relationship of the private and the public and the influence of the media on what used to be called the real life. In dealing with these issues, some humour is unavoidable.
After the presentation of a modest selection of works from his rich oeuvre, he will give the performance entitled “Heinz-Christian Strache: the Name”.

Siniša Labrovic, geboren 1965 in Sinj, Kroatien, präsentierte seine Arbeit (Buch) „Lisansustu Egitim/Postagraduate Education“ im Rahmen der 11. Istanbul Biennale, 2009. 2012 vertrat er Kroatien bei „Common Ground“, 13. Architektur Biennale in Venedig, gemeinsam mit Pula Group, Hrvoslava Brkušic, Igor Bezinovic and Boris Cvjetanovic.

Labrovic ist bis Ende Juli 2014 Artist in Residence im KEX Studio, eingeladen in Kollaboration mit MMSU, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Rijeka, Kroatien.
