Tsembla (FIN)
TSEMBLA is the musical work of Marja Johansson, a Swedish-Finnish artist living and working in Turku, Finland. Utilizing a wide range of instruments, electronics, objects and samples, the music of Tsembla rides on waves of warped melodies, rhythms and mutating textures, crossbreeding the known and the imaginary.

Core of the Coalman (US/CZ)
CORE OF THE COALMAN, the solo project of sound artist Jorge Boehringer, consists of continuity and discontinuity for viola, voice and circuits on theborder between order and chaos. Sonically diverse and at times explosive in texture, Core of the Coalman emphasizes the physicality of sound in its synesthetic relationships between ear, mind, and environment.
Think of Tony Conrad meets Melvins meets an airport on another planet meets Skandanavia meets prehistoric underwater life meets Scelsi and it is still all wrong.

“Giving the adjective “hypnotising” a run for its money, Superskin’s airy, lofi encrusted compositions revel in an opium haze. Following a dub-inflected sequence of rhythmic structures, slabs of luscious melody seduce only to roll back and re-appear to lull the listener into a state of zen-like trance.” (Baba Vanga)

Feathered Coyote Records is a DIY label based in Vienna that was founded 2011 by Uli Rois. The label releases (mostly) tapes of all kinds of exploratory, psychedelic music ranging from industrial to noise rock, ambient and folk stylings. Past releases have included the Belgian free drone duo González & Steenkiste, noise legend Maurizio Bianchi, Manchester psychedelic noise-rock band Desmadrados Soldados De Ventura, Argentinian drone musician Pandelindio and a solo tape by Primordial Undermind founder Eric Arn, among many others. Since fall 2012 Feathered Coyote also organizes shows in Vienna, which offer a musical spectrum equally diverse as the label’s catalog.
