You might think that PR for your game is a drag, but Trevor Longino, head of Marketing & PR for GOG.com, will talk about how you can make it into an adventure. Level up your community relations & PR skills with this lecture about the three things that you will need to build buzz around your new title. This talk discusses three different approaches to adding a human face to your digital business -honesty, humility, and delight- and how if you focus on these touchstones in your planning and all your interactions with your gaming public, you’re sure to find yourself well-equipped for your PR Quest.
Kurzbiographie
Trevor has worked in marketing for more than 12 years, and has worked at all levels in the field from graphic design to VP of Marketing, PR, & Communications for public companies in the US. He is also a public speaker who has performed for venues of 30 and 30,000, sharing his expertise in the marketing industry at events such as OMI conferences, non-profit luncheons for doterati (an organization of which he was president for a year), and various other events around the world. He spent two years in Central Florida teaching companies about marketing and working with brands such as Cox Communications, Disney, Nextelligence, and numerous non-profits in the region. Currently, he is head of marketing & PR for digital video game distributor GOG.com.
