This presentation by Matias Viegener and David Burns from the Los Angeles based Fallen Fruit collaborative examines modalities through which site, place and the public can be engaged through social art practice. Their work includes public art projects, participatory projects, social practice, video, installation,collaboration with the public, and curating. The collaborative will also present the experiences and results of their Vienna workshop „The Stage of the World“ at the Visual Culture Unit at the Institute of Art and Design at the Vienna University of Technology.
