Code for Peace

Are you passionate about using technology for social good, civic tech or peace tech? Imagine using your digital skills to help peacebuilders create tools that promote peace. Whether you‘re a tech enthusiast, peacebuilder, or activist, even if you are not a digital expert, we invite people of all skill levels to be part of a new informal monthly meetup where like-minded individuals collaborate to build digital solutions for peace.

Our kickoff meeting is on October 4th at 2 PM at the Austrian Centre for Peace. We’re thrilled to have Sonja Fischbauer from the Open Knowledge Foundation, who leads the „Code for Germany“ initiative, as our guest speaker. She’ll share insights on how community-driven tech projects can make a real difference, how we can apply these strategies to peacebuilding and will be happy to answer your questions.
