Homa

HOMA explores the concept of the human body as home. Especially as a woman living in a world where the female body is often judged and shamed. It was through the passage to adulthood that fears and insecurities towards my body appeared and that they generated the question of motherhood in me. HOMA tells the story of a woman’s relationship with her body. Throughout the piece, the audience follows the character’s changes in relation to her body as she learns that she is carrying a child, becoming someone else’s home.
