Explore new ways to understand and express sexual response in “Translating Desire,” a workshop that reimagines pleasure through the lenses of data and sound. We’ll delve into the psychophysiology of arousal and orgasm, learning to measure bodily responses like pulse and skin conductivity. Through hands-on training, participants will assemble bio-signal capturing devices and use simple coding to collect and analyze this data.
In the second part of the workshop, transform these signals into music, creating soundscapes that reflect the emotional rhythms of pleasure. Through sonification techniques, learn to convert data into melodies that evoke sensations of intimacy and excitement.
This workshop is designed for adults interested in combining art, science, and sensuality in a sex-positive, safer and respectful way.

Open to all skill levels – no technical expertise required. Feel free to bring a laptop if you have one.
