“Many of my performances and installations playfully invite the viewer to step out of passivity and become the creator.
I appeal to their desires…desires such as to break the 4th wall. It brings up feelings and reactions that will be processed later.
When people are drawn to participate - whether to paint on the artist, to give alms to a mad crone, to sit on blow up doll LoveSeats -
their paths and multiple identities/social positions intersect with mine.?
