Summer might be over, but that only means the new season at our gallery is kicking off in full force – and we’re starting with something gorgeously muddled. discotec is excited to present the first Viennese show of Mudboys, the collaborative project of János Brückner & Márton Emil Tóth, created together with the We Didn’t Do It! Crew.

Mudboy dives into the primal, playful, and strangely purifying world of mud. Here, mud is not just mud – it’s a portal. A skin of the earth that clings, softens, reshapes. Through performance, photography, and video, the artists explore how this ancient material can dissolve the boundaries between human and nature, body and ritual, play and purification.

As part of the exhibition opening program, the artists will perform live in the gallery, presenting a direct and physical manifestation of Mudboy.
