Objective Opacities

Inspired by Issa Samb’s words: “Objects are not just things, they carry a history, they are filled with memory, and they speak to us if we know how to listen”, this exhibition presents works from the seminar Helping Objects Move at die Angewandte.

The pieces on display are the result of an observational process in which students explored personal objects through drawing, sculpture, photography, and video. By highlighting the opaque corners of objects, we aim to spark a dialogue between different artistic approaches.
