“Three desperate space travellers are stranded on a deserted planet. It
looks like paradise but there are some leftovers of dead civilizations
and a spherical creature, the last survivor of the Parmenidesians, is
ruling the planet with a refined tyranny of hallucinations.

Our heroes face boredom and paranoia; they are tortured by erotic
visions and the terrible suspicion that despite evidence there might be
no real motion in space.

Finally even the beaming device has a malfunction … “
