stone imitating stone moments is an elliptically structured lecture, composed of a series of thematic blocks, each exploring a distinct topic at the intersection of spacegirls’ and Studio Eidola’s practices. Set against the backdrop of Inger Christensen’s “stony” poems, the lecture unfolds through different moments—touching on topics such as Mariah Carey’s concept of time, the notion of copy and original, and the relationship between coffee and capitalism. Musings on the Girl-Architect are sprinkled like pebbles throughout.

spacegirls (Cisse Bomholt, DK, and Elisabeth Gellein, NO) is an architectural practice with a strong focus on process and materiality. They specialize in site-specific interventions and material research. Their work reinterprets and explores architectural archetypes, often crafted from local materials and developed through slow, repetitive production methods. Their aim is to push the boundaries of architectural practice through playful experimentation with words, materials, construction, and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
