Wie wollen wir in Zukunft wohnen? Welche Infrastruktur hat die Stadt eurer Träume? Welche Rolle spielt in ihr der öffentliche Raum? Wie reagiert eure Stadt der Zukunft auf brennende Herausforderungen wie das Zusammenleben verschiedener Kulturen, die Schere zwischen Arm und Reich, Verkehr und Energieversorgung?

Lasst eure Ideen zur Stadt der Zukunft Wirklichkeit werden!. aspern Seestadt PUBLIK stellt euch ein Wochenende lang Raum und Infrastruktur zur Verfügung. Nutzt eines der 23 Holzgerüste (B: 2,5 m, H: 2,5 m, T: 3 m) und modelliert eure Wohn- und Lebenswelt von morgen.

Eine Jury begutachtet die Einreichungen und wählt 23 Projekte nach den Kriterien Originalität, Innovation, Nachhaltigkeit, Experiment und Arbeit in Gruppen zur Umsetzung aus. Diese werden von 23. – 25. September in aspern Seestadt präsentiert.

Weiters sucht aspern Seestadt PUBLIK Menschen, die ihr einschlägiges Wissen zum Ort aspern Seestadt als Guides von Publikumsspaziergängen teilen wollen. Z. B. die schönsten Joggingstrecken, die lauschigsten Plätzchen, ideale Orte zum Vögelbeobachten etc.

How do we wish to live in the future? What kind of infrastructure does the city of your dreams have? How much importance is placed on public spaces in it? How does your (idea of a) city of the future react to current/topical challenges such as multiculturalism, the gap between rich and poor, traffic issues and energy supply?

Let your idea of the city of the future become reality. aspern Seestadt PUBLIK will provide you with space and infrastructure over a weekend. Use one of the timber scaffoldings provided (W: 2.5m, H: 2.5m, L: 3m) and model your idea of a living environment and lifestyle for tomorrow.

A jury will appraise the submissions and choose 23 projects for implementation, according to the criteria of originality, innovation, sustainability, experiment and groupwork. These will be presented in aspern Seestadt between 23rd-25th September.

Furthermore, aspern Seestadt PUBLIK is looking for people who would like to share their pertinent knowledge of the area by working as guides for public promenades, eg. the most attractive jogging routes, the cosiest hideaways, ideal places for animal-watching etc.
