“The Right/Wrong Workshop”

An Open Work Proccess with David Maayan

The workshop series with theatre maker David Maayan aims to cultivate and encourage an artistic working process culture, to establish a routine of theater work as a quest for growth and transformation, and to prepare participants for possibilities of creating artistic results at the Theater Hamakom Nestroyhof Hamakom or elsewhere.

The first workshop block will be offered on 3 weekends from April to June 2010, the next block is scheduled for Autumn 2010. The workshops are open to everyone. Participation is on a daily basis: for one day or more, for all days or none. (The Family Table workshop can only be booked for the whole course of both days).

First workshop: Saturday - Sunday,
April 24, 11:00 - 18:00
April 25, 14:00 - 21:00

“IS THIS HUMOR OR ARE YOU JUST HAPPY TO SEE ME ?”
Finding, exploring, and upgrading one’s own sense of humor. Strengthening, releasing, and creating one pure tear.

Second workshop: Saturday - Sunday, May 29 - 30, 11:00 - 18:00

“KILL THE DARLING AND OTHER FRIENDS”
Choices in ‘hard to choose situations’. ‘Important’ versus ‘not important’. Steps towards being your own dramaturg.

Third workshop: Saturday - Sunday, June 19 - 20, 11:00 - 18:00

“THE FAMILY TABLE”
A detailed visit to your own family table materials. Learning to present and observe own family table insights.
