Vierteilige Gebetsmühle und Weltkarte mit Migrationsrouten.

Diese Gebetsmühle entspringt dem Buddhismus und wird zum Straßenkunst-Objekt readaptiert mit Aussagen und ‚säkularisierten Mantras‘ – den Wünschen von MigrantInnen für ein neues Leben, ein neues Heim, für Respekt. Die dazugehörige Weltkarte stellt eine Migrations-Karte dar, mit den Migrationsrouten wie z.B. von Osteuropa zum Westen, von Mexiko zu den USA, von Afrika nach Südeuropa, Bangladesh nach Indien, Indien nach England, Pakistan nach Indien, usw.

“The prayer wheel is a tool to multiply the power of thought and to practice faith in something even in the age of technical multiplication. Originally it is one of the accessories of buddhism. We adapted its logic and mode of action, and created a street art object with expressions, statements those help the practice of urban life in the 21st century and work like secularized mantras. Our prayer wheels give chance to anyone -disregarding age, sex, nationality- to multiply the power of his/her goodwill and this way to indicate positive changes in this planet. By the rolls of our prayer wheels, contemporary „noble truths” can be activated, which might help to make our mutual everyday easier. The rolls are made of bamboo and wood except the last one which is made of plastic waste – we added this new material in the set of available ancient elements of nature, also this material symbolizes the eternal return. The rolls can be rolled individually.”
