CLOUD IS SERVING A LEMONADE

„Cloud is serving a lemonade“ is an audiovisual dance performance by Julia Zastava with Elizabeth Ward exploring light of an invisible crispy heart, loops of universe, incantation requests, gazes and animistic thoughts. The work expands on the ideas of the uncanny, themes of fragmented reality, and the expansion of meanings and functions developed in Zastava’s recent piece Sunset Z. Incorporating fantastical costumes, sculptural movements, and experimental tape loops, Cloud is serving lemonade might be a performative incantation or a moving assemblage existing at the cross point of different artistic practices. Text transforms into a sound, sound becomes drawing, and drawing gives impetus towards movement. The piece has a medieval aesthetic but is future leaning- a future that probably will not happen, or happens without us, or not in our world.

AIR – eine Tanzperformance (als Soloversion von Katharina Illnar) deren choreografische und tänzerische Grundlagen von der Gegenwertigkeit der uns ständig umgebenden Atmosphäre – die in ihren Funktionen, ihrer Zusammensetzung, Kraft und Wirkung weitereichenden, oft vernachlässigten und unterschätzten Einfluss hat – ausgeht und sie als einen Raum für Aktionen und Kommunikation, als Ort der Übertragung und des Austausches, als verbindendes Element von Positivem wie Negativem, als Lebensraum, als Bedingung und als Ort des weltweiten Geschehens hinterfragt.
