Ferro Taylor stehen im Spannungsfeld zwischen Songs und abstrakten Klanglandschaften.
Harte Cuts manövrieren unverhofft von einer Szene in die nächste, während sanfte Überlappungen die Möglichkeit musikalischer Koexistenz andeuten.
Konkretes dehnt sich zu Abstraktem und zieht sich wieder zusammen, so als hätte jeder Song seine Entsprechung in einer weniger verortbaren Spiegelwelt.
Es ist eine Musik der veränderlichen Zustände.
Das Debutalbum „Serious Soft“ ist beim Label Well Gedacht erschienen.
Beim Coverdesign arbeiteten wir mit der Grafikerin Valerija Ilcuka zusammen. Das aus der Mode gekommene Jewel Case, die Plastikhülle, steht dabei im Fokus und wird als Objekt in den Vordergrund gerückt.

The piece is a continuation of the research for and performance of “fragility frittata” together with the musician Ryan Hollaway.
Julie C. Stamm is researching creative processes through the crossroads of dance and neuroscience. A fundamental interest of hers is cerebral network interaction related states of consciousness and how they translate in an artistic practice. This interest arose during her studies of Neuropsychology and was further developed in her time at the professional dance program, Performact in Portugal. Upon completion of her studies, she has been exploring the artistic communities in Brussels, Vienna and Berlin, while planting seeds for future projects.
Her artistic interest lies in creating a sense of unity and integration between subject and spectator. It is driven by wonderings about the space between us and crossings between transitory waiting rooms.
