In meiner Musik beschäftige ich mich mit Themen wie Dichte,
Reizüberflutung, Information und Informationsverlust, Chaos und Kontrolle. Große Mengen an Sampledatenbänken werden in extremer Geschwindigkeit ausgelesen und bis an die Grenzen des Hörbaren zu einem phantastischen Rauschen verdichtet. Kurzfristige Reduktion soll Strukturen erkennbar machen um sie schließlich wieder zu verwischen und im Strudel der Informationsflut unter die Wahrnehmungsschwelle und in

Acoustically and electronically created soundscapes by trumpet and
effects.
Alexander Kranabetter is an Austrian trumpet player and composer. After
finishing his studies in jazz and classical trumpet at the Anton
Bruckner University in Linz/Austria he moved to Vienna, where he is
living as a freelance musician.
Playing in many different bands and projects over the past few years, he
is known as one of the most versatile artists in the Viennese and
Austrian music scene.

Smallforms is a platform and music label for contemporary and
experimental forms of music which require an attitude of listening. the monthly series consists of recording sessions in the afternoon and concert/live set in the evening (curated by gustavo petek) joining forces with electronic allies, spoken word, spinning tunes or sweet stuff of pop culture (curated by alisa beck) that may lead to the underworld (or hell).
