(…) While the traditional concept behind creating artwork in the context of contemporary art production is usually associated with the idea of creative agency, Kager’s performative miniatures of indeterminate length may instead be considered ideas of destruction, devaluation, or revaluation. His actions or performances, interactive structures, objects, and installations continually oscillate between parameters that strong address sensory stimuli, automated repetitive movements, moments of stagnancy, lack of functionality, or forms of societal and political criticism.
