Oris Magazin - Talk
Vermittlung und Austausch als Kulturstrategien am Beispiel der Tätigkeit von Oris Zeitschrift für Architektur und Lebenskultur mit zugehörigen Haus der Architektur, Verlag und den Architektursymposien.
Wir erlauben uns, Sie auf die kommende Veranstaltung, die Präsentation über die Arbeit des größten kroatischen Architektur-Magazins „Oris“, am Samstag, den 22. Juni hinzuweisen.
Vera Grimmer leitet die Runde mit Andrija Rusan, Jasminka Rusan und von österreichischer Seite DI. in Dr. in.tech Margit Ulama (Büro für Architektur_Theorie_Organisation).
Oris organisiert jährlich ein Architektur-Symposium und begrüßt dabei tausende Gäste. Sie betreuen außerdem das Oris House of architecture.
Die Veranstaltung im LESEHAUS beginnt um 16:00 Uhr.

VERA GRIMMER
Born in Ludbreg, Croatia in 1941. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb. Since 1985, she has published numerous articles and reviews in domestic and foreign architectural magazines. For Vienna City Hall she organised the exhibitions: Dubrovnik (an exhibition of photographs by Damir Fabijanic), Raumgedanken-8 Architekten Aus Zagreb, Beiträge zur Urbanität (Contributions to Urbanity). She is the editor of Oris magazine. Recipient of the Neven Segvic Award for 2003.
ANDRIJA RUSAN
Born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1957. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb in 1980. He has been working as a free-lance architect and the head of his own atelier, Rusanov ured, since 1986. He is the founder and director of Oris House of Architecture. He participated at IBA (Internationale Bauaustellung) in Berlin in 1987, as the author of the exhibition Zagreb, ah Zagreb. Co-author of the exhibition Continuity of Modernity – Fragments of Croatian Architecture from Modernism to 2010 and the book Contemporary Croatian Architecture – Testing Reality. In the 80s and the 90s he was the editor of magazines Covjek i prostor and Arhitektura. Since 1998 he has been the editor, publisher and editor of the magazine Oris. For scientific-research, critical, theoretical, as well as for journalistic work in the field of architecture, Oris was twice the recipient of the Neven Segvic Award. Andrija Rusan was the recipient of the Drago Galic Award for the best residential architecture in 1997, and the Dedalo Minose Prize for the Lumenart office building in Pula in 2007. In 2006 he was appointed the Croatian commissioner for the 10th Biennale of Architecture in Venice. Parallel to his activities as a publisher and creator of exhibitions, he has also designed and realized a number of interiors, family houses and commercial buildings. His work appears in the Phaidon Atlas of 21st World Architecture.
