Die Ausstellung zeigt Arbeiten des Duos Nascimento/Lovera aus Venezuela sowie von Erick Meyenberg aus Mexico City. Nascimento/Lovera umschreibt die eigene künstlerische Praxis als ?Strategien der Intervention im sozialen Raum?. Nascimento/Lovera begeben sich ins Zentrum des ?archivarischen Übels? und streben mit ihrem Archivo Nacional nach einer Genesung sowohl des kollektiven als auch des individuellen Gedächtnisses. Auch Erick Meyenberg dringt in seinem Schaffen in die (Unter)Strömungen von Geschichte und Archäologie vor, wobei er mittels interdisziplinärer Methoden verschiedene Bedeutungsebenen gleichsam freilegt wie verschüttet.

The exhibition presents works by Nascimento/Lovera, a duo based in Venezuela and by Erick Meyenberg from Mexico City. Nascimento/Lovera define their artistic practice as a path to creating ?intervention strategies in the social space.? Nascimento/Lovera position themselves at the core of the ?archival malady?, pursuing the recuperation of fragments of both collective and individual memory in what they called the Archivo Nacional. The works of Erick Meyenberg dig into the (under)currents of history and archeology, exposing and hiding different layers and strata of meaning through the use of interdisciplinary methodologies.
