Julian Turner: Ich merke mir alles, außer das Wichtige

In his first Viennese solo exhibition, Julian Turner (b. 1985) welcomes the viewer attributing different values to ordinary objects, bringing them into an unordinary context. Ich merke mir alles, außer das Wichtige, investigates tame circumstances, renewed in their ordinariness.

Artificiality, reproduction, space, handcraft, alcohol theorization, irony, chaos, casuality, detail and their surroundings.

It is a complex universe, yet balanced and homogeneous, achieved through an unconscious elegance and a planned accidentality.
